Coordinate, Advocate and Promote AwarenessNDRAC believes that awareness about disability issues is key in the fight for an inclusive society. It is important that people with disabilities are able to access information in order to understand and claim their rights for equal services, including health and education. We will also support PWDs to challenge the attitudinal, environmental and institutional barriers that exist across PNG.
In addition to providing the resources and information for PWDs to advocate for their rights. It is essential that we inform our political leaders about the rights of disabled people to ensure policies are developed and resources allocated to ensure PWDs are given the services that are rightfully theirs. In order to achieve this we:

Enhance Networking and PartnershipsDisability affects all our communities and and to develop an inclusive society we need to ensure all areas of society are working together. NDRAC acts as a bridge between Government, NGOs, faith based organisations, health and education institutions and international partners and donors. Building skills of People With Disabilities
Everyone in our society has the right to access education and training that gives us the means by which we can choose to live independently. PWDs are often unable to access this education or training and therefore are unable to reach their full potential. It is not only skills that are developed through this process but an increase in confidence, which is a critical part of the rehabilitation journey. NDRAC is addressing this challenge by:
- Providing advice and support to PWDs to help them develop their own responses to the challenges they face through the development of Disabled People's Organizations (DPO).
- Providing training and practical experience to develop income generating skills, ranging from documentary film production to screen printing for rural income generation.
- Developing a forum for PWDs to learn and share ideas about ways in which to increase their skills

To be a focal point for disability information
Lack of information is a big challenge for the disability sector in PNG. Information is vital for the provision of services, education, advocacy and partnership development. NDRAC aims to become a focal point for: PWDs, service providers, policy makers, donors and business houses. In order to do this NDRAC will:- Develop and maintain a website for a small but influential audience. We believe that web based information will become an important communication tool in the coming years.
